internal inflammation anybody?

I know inflammation can be normal, and my midwife has done a bunch of tests to make sure there is no infection or anything, I also had a lot of bleeding from my pap smear a few weeks ago due to the inflammation. I'm just curious if anyone else has a lot of vaginal inflammation? Sex is really uncomfortable for me now, and I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas how to treat it. My midwife suggested inserting yogurt vaginally for a week to see if it helps. Thanks!
