GBS question

I am almost 39 weeks, just found out this week I am positive for Group B Strep. 

IVs make me REALLY queasy (often leading to passing out, sometimes seizure-like, and often prefaced with panic attacks) and while I will do whatever it takes to have a healthy baby, if anyone knows of a viable alternative to an IV antibiotic, I'd love to hear it, so I can ask my OB about it!
