mucus plug?....TMI warning

I just had a long gelatinous piece come out of me. It reminds me alot of the mucus plugs I lost in the my earlier pregnancies, except not bloody. Is that even possible this early and should I be concerned? Or is this just typical wierd stuff that goes on down there during this time.
