Heart rate = Boy/Girl

I had my second apt today and babies heart rate was around 159-160. Doc said it might be a girl because girls typically (not always) have a higher heart rate ranging 150-160 while boys tend to range from 140-150. I remember my last doc saying the same thing. My daughters heart rate was always really high around 158-160. For those of you who either already have a kid or who have found out the sex of your baby, is this consistent with your pregnancy or your LO.
