Hi All,

I mentioned on another board that my husband and I will start TTC this May!! We're elated!!

This question really pertains to California residents or individuals who know how California State Disability Insurance (SDI)/Paid Family Leave (PFL) works.

The questions I have are: how do I find out what my weekly benefit amount would be, for both SDI and PFL? How long will my SDI benefits be paid for? I recall it being 12 weeks however has that changed? I believe with PFL there's a maximum of 6 weeks for benefits, correct? They're distributing the weekly benefits on EDD Debit Cards now, how is one supposed to make mortgage payments that are electronically withdrawn from another account? Are the benefits tax free?

 Any other information will be greatly appreciated!
