Why are my u/s pics always so fuzzy?

I look at some of the u/s pics on here, and they look great! So clear and easy to read. Mine are always dark and fuzzy. Is it just a quality of the machine thing? I've only ever gotten u/s pics done at my dr office. I just wish I could have a clear pic!
