Baby Talk and Pacifiers

For or Against ? and Why?

 

For me I dont mind baby talk sometimes. I do a mixture of both normal talking and baby talk.I know other parents are against baby talk because they think it will limit their vocabulary or hinder them in the future. I personally think thats bs but i'd like to hear your opinions.

Now for pacifiers or "nuks" as I call them, I was against them from the beginning and wasnt going to give her one because I know that just adds to the list of something I have to wean her off of, but the lovely hospital decided they were going to give her one unbeknownst to me and now we own like 12 lol. But I guess the good thing is she only uses them for soothing and spits it out when she is done.
