For the love of... efface or dialate already.

Ok so I am only 38weeks and a few days but I am starting to get impatient. I was hoping to be atleast a cm dialted or atleast 1% effaced. So far I got nothin. I swear when that mucus plug comes out i'm calling everyone (not really but I added it for dramatic effect). I wasn't anxious until my DR. started suggesting we induce at 39weeks so that DH will be in town for the birth (I definitely do not want to be induced be for 42 weeks). I know a lot of you ladies are past your EDD and are rolling eyes at this, as I will be too if he doesn't make an appearance soon. I have an appointment this morning and am crossing fingers they tell me that something has changed in there.
