DH ticking me off

I should start by saying that DH and I stable relationship lol.

BUT, has anyone gotten more annoyed than ever with DH or SO now that they're pregnant? Sometimes I can't tell if it's just me being overly-emotional, or him making a concerted effort to piss me off. 

I've talked to my mom about this. She told me my dad did the same thing when she was pregnant with her first. Her take on it was basically, "he's a little scared about being a new dad and when men are scared, they can act like jerks".

Anyone else have a take on this?
