XP: Ouch. Toothache.

I woke up in the middle of the night last night with a throbbing tooth.  Of course this happens on the weekend and the dentist is closed.  I went to the chemist and got some paracetomal (basically the same thing as aceteminophin), which is the only thing safe for pregnant women.  It is sort of doing the trick but I am have tempted to call the emergency weekend dentist...anyone btdt while pregnant?  I know it is generally ok to get a root canal (hopefully it won't come to that) or a cavity filled while pregnant but has anyone actually had that done here?I feel like the only thing an emergency dentist would be able to do is prescribe paracetomal (which I am already taking) and tell me to go to my dentist on Monday, right? Not worth the $$ if so...why oh why do these things happen on the weekend?Sorry for the vent. This tooth is making me cranky. Especially since I just got a cleaning 6 months ago. Ugh.
