I've had my doubts about her before, especially after my husband told me about some things that happened during his childhood. 

But she just told me that Starbucks scares her.

I understand being intimidated if you have never been to a coffee shop before... and I also really don't think she was making a statement on their widespread commercialism... I also don't think it was meant to be ironic.
