can you actually feel your cervix dialate? (maybe TMI)

I'm not trying to sound crazy (this is my 2nd baby- I don't remember this happening the first time 2 years ago) but I have already dropped considerably and are having a lot of regular Braxton Hicks. Today I started noticing a dull pain all the way up in my vajayjay... I seriously am wondering if I'm feeling the cervix starting to dialate? It's very achy and at times almost sharp pains shoot "up there". Am I crazy? I definitely have a feeling I'm not making it to 40 weeks this time around... It feels like he's just around the corner... TIA
