can you choose your meds?

that they give you during and after the csection?

after my first csection I was so OUT OF IT, I want to be more present next time, do they always give a specified med after the procedure? Was I loopy because of the anesthesia?

I will obviously ask my ob when I am pregnant again, just curious about others experiences. I started just motrin a few days afterwards, so I am most curious about the first days.
