It would figure that this would happen on one of the rare nights in which i'm actually sleeping well..

I woke up at 5:41 with some assshole ringing my doorbell like crazy. it was back to back like 10 rings...then it stopped. I wasn't even sure it was real, but my dog definitely heard it. 

Then about twenty seconds later, it started ringing again.  then stopped. I start shaking my DH because a bomb couldn't wake him up. He DIDN'T CARE! he said, "the door's locked, the windows are locked. go back to sleep" and as he said that they started pounding on the door! 

So I called the police. The dispatch woman could hear the pounding from all the way across the apartment.

 

 

So three police car's came with 6 people and searched around my apartment and whatever. Of course the person was gone. 

 

So now I'm awake at 6AM...ugh.
