Is it really necessary?

This is my first pregnancy... I have absolutely no family history of diabetes, I am a healthy eater, and I exercise.

So can I say "Thanks, but no thanks?" -- Or will they poo poo me? I feel like it is unnecessary for me and just another thing that my Doc office will bill my insurance for.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Has anyone said no?
