Recipe: Chocolate Banana Bran Muffins!

I made some this week and they are sooo yummy, so I thought I'd share with you ladies (especially since if you're like me this pregnancy you need a little extra something to "keep ya regular" Stick out tongue)

Bowl 1: 

1 C        Flour
1 C        All bran cereal
2 tsp     Baking powder
1/2 tsp  Salt
2 tbsp   Cocoa
1C        Blueberries/Raspberries (optional) 

Combine all ingredients together into mixing bowl with a well in the center.

Bowl 2:

1/4 C         Butter/Margarine, softened
1/2 C         Granulated sugar
2               Eggs
1/4C          Milk
1C (3 med) Mashed bananas

Combine butter, sugar and one egg until well blended. Beat in second egg. Mix in milk and bananas. Pour all at once into well in Bowl 1.

Mix until moistened. Ignore lumps. Fill greased muffin cups 3/4 full.

Bake 400*F for 20-25mins. Makes about a dozen

Notes: I needed to add more milk (probably ended up being around 1/2C total) to get the right consistency. The recipe actually calls for using sour milk or adding 1tsp vinegar to the milk, but I didn't bother.
