17-P Shot

Hello Moms,

I have a question.  Has anyone receive or is receiving the 17-P shot? This shot is  to help carry the baby to term, because my last baby was born at 20 weeks and passed away at birth.  I had my first shot yesterday and it hurt like h*ll.  I can't stand it.  My whole backside is hurting (they administer the shot in your buttocks or upper hip).  I don't know if I can continue to go through with it.  I have to have the shot every week for the next 14 weeks!!!!  Oh it is so painful.  Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, how painful is it to you?
