2nd c-section

My last c-section was 7 years ago, but I had emergency c-section. Is a scheduled c-section better then emergency c-section. I'm nervous. I went thru a horrible experience. I couldn't even open my eyes to see my baby, or feel myself breath. All I could do was hear him cry.

I want to be able to see him over the curtain and share the experience with my husband. I want to be able to give him a kiss.

But I'm scared that something is gonna go wrong. 

If you are scheduled for a c-section, but the baby wants to come sooner, what happens, in terms of delivery.
