No Visitor Policy When We Bring Baby Home

This is our 1st baby.  MH and I have decided that we will implement a "no visitor policy" for 4 days once we come home from the hospital.  I firmly believe that it is super important for MH, our child and myself to begin bonding as an independent family unit.  I want it to be established that our baby is just that, ours, and not everyone's baby.  Additionally, I want us to figure things out for ourselves without having someone there to say "no, don't do it that way" or "here, let me show you".  MH's parents are waaaaaay over involved in our niece and nephew's lives and those kids are unruly, undisciplined, rude, defiant brats.  And their parents let the grandparents overrule them completely.  Needless to say, this will NOT be us and I have learned from them so much about how not to raise your kids.  We need to set boundaries from the beginning.  I was just curious if anyone else planned on implementing a "no visitor policy" for a period of time once they come home?
