2+ moms- membrane stripping

I know having your membranes stripped doesn't always work, but if you had your membranes stripped, did you feel crampy all day and still not go into labor?

I'm asking because I had mine stripped today and am in quite a bit of discomfort. Its making me wonder if things are progressing, or if I'm in this pain for nothing because labor still might not start.

Thoughts?
