So I got Mirena put in on Jan 5th. I had light spotting for a day, then it went away. A week later I got my period and it seems like my period just hasn't stopped. I'm still bleeding! Not heavy, but it's there. I'm thinking about taking it out. I'm due back to my doc in a few weeks and I really want this to work for me (can't get more convenient than once every 5 years) but this bleeding has gotten annoying.

 Has anyone else used Mirena? Did you bleed afterwards? And if so for how long?
