I swear I have new mom insomnia, anyone else?

I can't ever sleep! Not just when my  LO keeps me up, but those few precious hour windows where I could sleep too. I just can't, I lie down with my eyes closed for hours and nothing ever happens. It just doesn't make sense? I'm exhausted and want to sleep. It's like I'm too tired to even sleep, which also doesn't make sense. I can't take sleep aids because then if my son does wake up I'm afraid I'd be too conked out to hear him. Anybody going through/went through this?
