braxton hicks? growing?

Ok so Im 36 weeks pregnant and Im 1/2 cm dialated. My baby has been in position to be delivered since at least November. 

I'm not sure I know what Braxton hicks contrations feel like. I havent had any cramping or "pains" across my stomach.  The only pain I ever feel is a sharp pain. It feels like its my cervix. I first noticed it a couple months ago (i would feel it once a week or so) and now its more intense and more frequent ( a few times a day). Is what Im feeling braxton hicks, or is it just the pressure from the baby growing and running out of room?
