BF and pumping

We are going to be introducing a bottle to our LO between 2 and 4 weeks and since I exclusively breast feed now, when would be a good time to pump? LO feeds about every 3 hrs during the day and every 4 to 5 hrs at night. I'm just not sure how to get this pumping thing started. TIA!
