Eye discharge?

Hi there. This is my 1st time posting on this board. I had my LO at 35 weeks and he's now 12 days old. He did very well and only spent 1 day in NICU for hypoglycemia. Anyway, we noticed yesterday that his right eye is getting this pearly white discharge. It's not yellow or green colored and doesn't seem to bother him. He is fine in every other way. I read online that it's probably a blocked tear duct and there's not much you can do for that. I have just been cleaning his eye with a warm, moist cottonball. We have pedi appt on Wed for a weight check so I will def bring it up then. And he was just seen at pedi Friday for a weight check and he was fine. Anyone have this with their LO?
