Follow up to question...

Hi Ladies,

I posted a week and a half ago about my fears of baby being separated from me if I had to have a C-Section. You ladies were all so helpful, I thought I would come back and update.

Last Friday I delivered our son via C-Section after 29 hours of labor and only progressing to 2-3 centimeters.  

I was terrified they would make the baby leave the OR before I could because they said that was protocol. Well I talked to the OB that was going to do the surgery and she promised I could keep the baby in OR as long as he was healthy. He was and only 1 nurse tried to convince me that he needed to leave the OR because it was too cold. I told her flat out NO and my husband held him skin to skin by my head the whole time.

Thanks to you ladies I was able to advocate to keep him with us. I cannot thank you enough.
