LO Fights Naptime

Our 5 week old does fine sleeping at night, but refuses to sleep during the day even though I know he's tired.  He'll get right to the edge of sleep and then pop wide awake again and we have to start all over - he gets overtired and cries and cries and I get frustrated.  I've been trying to get him to nap for 2 hours now with no luck.  I try swaddling, shushing, nursing, bouncing, leaving him alone, white noise...I don't know what else to try!  He hates the swing, hates the Moby wrap, hates his crib.  Anyone have any daytime napping tips?  Please??
