3rd Trimester

Did you have a sweep, did it hurt and did it work for you?

January 2012 in 3rd Trimester

I'm 5 days overdue now. I got offered a sweep 1 day overdue but I said no as for some reason I am terrified of having one! Do they hurt or just uncomfortable? How long do they take? Am I worrying over nothing?

My midwife has offered me another tomorrow if i want one. Did they work for you first time? As iv heard of some people having 3 and it still didn't work!
