Laryngitis and pregnancy?

For the last 3+ weeks, I've been steadily losing my voice. My ob was literally of no use in this (told me to go to my primary, and take antibiotics), so I turned to the internet.

Bad internet research: chronic hoarseness can be caused by thyroid cancer, which is more common in pregnancy.

Good internet research: chronic hoarseness can be caused by reflux, which is very common in pregnancy.

After conferring with the doc, I started pepcid, and seriously, 1 pill and 12 hours later, my voice is coming back. 

So, in case anyone else is dealing with this - and feels absolutely fine otherwise - ask the dr. about reflux laryngitis.
