Excessive Spit-up

My DS is 10 days old, I'm just wondering if I'm holding my baby's head too high, or if I'm feeding him too much. When he takes the breastmilk, I hear gulps going down, but once I hold him upright to burp him, he'll spit up like 2-4 tablespoon of milk. Sometimes it's so much it comes out like vomit. I know spit-up is normal for babies, but so much comes out, I'm just wondering if maybe I'm not positioning him right when I feed him.
