returning to work - i don't wanna!

so I'm having a REALLY hard time with the idea of returning to work and leaving this sweet baby with someone else. 1) any suggestions for how to deal with this?

and,

2) any ideas on how to word to my boss that i'd like to explore the possibilty of cutting back my schedule to 3-4 days a week instead of the 5 that i had been working?
