Post partum bleeding

What are you planning on using for post partum bleeding? This is something I'm really not looking forward to... I've used tampons for years now when I got my period because I hated pads so much! One of my friends suggested getting a few Depends to use for the first 24-48 hours since the bleeding will be fairly heavy.
