what ACTUALLY happens right after baby is born?

I'm being induced tomorrow morning! DH asked me last night at what point I would like the family to come in to see baby....I wasn't sure. My first was born at 31 weeks so as anyone with a preemie knows, baby is whisked right away and into the NICU. So now I am wondering what actually happens...how much time will we get with her at first? Will they take her away into the nursery?...anything else I should know about how the process works...thank you
