Dehydration or Contractions????

January 2012 in 3rd Trimester

A moment ago I was having severe pain in my upper adomen. They were constant an never ending it was hurting so bad I couldn't talk. Afterwards I begin to feel pressure in my lower area both front and back. Could it be me dialating or my body getting ready for him to come out? Have anyone else experienced this? Also I am 4.5cm dialated an hoping the LO make it to thursday.
