Fussy during feeding

My LO is five weeks old. Over the past few days he has been super fussy while eating (both when taking a bottle of breast milk and while nursing). At two weeks, the pedi thought he might have reflux, but he very rarely spits up...I'm not entirely convinced. We burp him frequently during feelings and he is often gassy or passes stools, but both don't seem to relieve him. Anyone else experiencing this? Any thoughts or tips?
