Does baby move during contractions? XP from Feb 2012

Background info...I'm 37 weeks today (Sunday). At my apt on thursday, I had an u/s and my OB said LO is already over 7 lbs. I was also 1.5 cm dilated and 75% effaced...I know that can mean nothing as well. She hooked me up to the monitors to see if I was contracting...I was, every 5 minutes, but they were really short and I could barely feel them. 

Today, I've had 2 of what I think are contractions. The second one was semi strong and baby moved all around during it. Is that normal? Do they move during contractions? As soon as it was done, he stopped moving around.
