Formula doesn't seem to be filling him up...

Our 15 week LO is drinking up to 6oz of formula per feeding and depending on the time of day or night it could be less than that or sometimes more if he drinks the 6oz and starts crying for more. We have been giving him some cereal mixed in with his milk a couple times a day to help give him more food. Speaking of adding cereal to his milk, is there any trick for making the hole on the nipple bigger so the cereal can pass through easily? I took a knife and made the hole bigger but when I gave the bottle to our LO, nothing was coming out. I am not sure what his mom does to get it to work. She told me to use a knife!

I am guessing we will need to bump his feedings up to 8oz and see if that helps keep him filled.

I can say the boy is growing big time so all that formula he drinks is definitely working! LOL!
