neck rash or yeast infection?

My LO 's neck is crazy hard to clean. I feel like it is an uphill battle. I pulled back the folds tonight and it is red/shiny almost raw-ish. Now I am worried that it is a yeast infection. The doc said just to use vaseline and even to use butt paste. I put on some diaper rash cream tonight and I am hoping that it is better in the morning. Do you think I need to get in over the weekend, or would it be ok to wait until Monday? LO does not act like it bothers her at all.
