Is it possible that my baby turned and is now breech?

My baby has been transverse the entire pregnancy. 2 weeks ago, he turned and was head down. He hiccups several times a day and I could feel his hiccups lower between my pelvic bones. Well.. last night he took a painful turn and now I feel like he is transverse again. His hiccups are in the middle of my belly towards the right. Is that even possible??? I thought that at 35 weeks he would be head down and wouldn't move anymore.... any thoughts???
