My husband and I booked a week vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I'll be 16-17 weeks when we go. We plan to spend most of the time just relaxing, but we'd like to do a few excursions. I'm trying to decide what types of tours would be best for a pregnant women.
Obviously, there are several tours that have restrictions for expecting mothers (ie. scuba diving, zip-lines, strenuous hiking etc.). But do you think some moderate hiking, boat tours/whale watching, snorkelling would be okay. I've scoped out many tour companies and they don't tend to have any restrictions for boat tours and whale watching, but I was wondering if anyone had any positive or negative experiences, or if anyone recommends any other types of tours.
I figure there will just be an increased risk of sea sickness and that I'll need to drink lots of water and protect myself from the sun.
