Two plugs?

January 2012 in 3rd Trimester

So, I bled after my exam last week at 38 weeks, and when I stopped bleeding I lost my plug. Now, a week and a half later - I'm losing it again? It's definitely not regular discharge, and it's a lot. Is it possible to start losing it, stop for a week and then lose the rest? Or, I've also heard that if you lose it a little early it can grow back?

Has anyone else heard of this or lost their plug at two different times?
