Feel like baby is trying to force her way out!

Does anyone else feel like their baby is trying to get out?! All today it's felt like my LO is trying to poke her head out and take a peek at the real world. I don't mean just riding low and putting pressure on my pelvic area--it feels like she has found leverage and is pushing with all her might. 

I'm 31 weeks with my second and I talked to a friend who said apparently after the first pregnancy your muscles just let loose so the baby gets way down there. It is a very strange sensation!
