Blood Boils/Blisters? A little TMI.

Today, I noticed a blood blister on my thigh. Its about the size of half a dime, but it hurts more than anything! I cant even walk straight because of the pain. I called my OB who said she could look at it tomorrow at my appt, that it may be a boil and they could drain it.

So I suppose my question is, has anyone ever had one? If so, what caused it (if you know) and how did you get rid of it and the pain?
