High blood pressure question??

My blood pressure is usually around 120/75, on monday it was 134/86, I felt sick at the time, the doctor was some what concerned but I have another appointment on Monday and we will re-check. I checked at a pharmacy this morning at it was 146/90. I still feel like I have a cold that is dragging me down a bit. I waiting a few minutes, re-checked at the pharmacy and it was 122/77.

So my question is, will blood pressure raise this much from having a cold?
