Genetic Screenings- Carrier

Hi there,

 I am 12 weeks along today! A couple of weeks ago I had my blood taken to do genetic screenings and I just got a call from my doctor saying that I am a carrier for a CF mutation and that my husband needs to have his blood work done to be tested for the same thing. If he is not a carrier then all is good. I am perfectly healthy and had no idea I was a carrier of this genetic mutation. Even though my doctor says not to worry, I couldnt help but freak out. I know all I can do is wait until my husband gets his blood work done and we get the results. Did anyone else get told that they are a carrier? And did anyone else have a hard time not worrying?

 I realize now I've just got to stay positive and be patient. I just want a healthy baby :)
