Add cereal?

My 9 week old is formula fed and eats 5oz every 2 hours. that's a lot for a baby this young. He weighs about 14 pounds and is 25 in long so he is a big boy. He was born with a tooth and is cutting another one already which I find odd also. I was wondering if anyone has a fast developing baby and if adding rice would help him go longer between feedings.
