Why is belly touching so bothersome?

Ok So I have seen a lot of ladies get their panties in a twist when someone wants to touch their belly. I personally don't get it. I mean if it is a complete stranger that doesn't ask and just puts their hand all over you, okay that's uncomfortable/inconsiderate but if a family member, friend, or coworker wants to give you a quick belly pat then go ahead. Maybe I am just a little more lax about people who aren't pregnant being curious and excited about a woman growing a baby.

Especially when men want to touch your big bump, some ladies get so offensive. The only thing that moves in their (mens) stomache is Taco Bell, so why is it so odd for a man to want to know what your baby movements feel like? No judgement but I am just wondering what's the big friggin deal?
