Placenta Prevaria update....

This morning I had my 5th ultrasound because my OB has been keeping an eye on my low lying placenta. She informed me that my placenta isnt covering my cervix any longer but that it isnt where it should be because its too far back, so she told me that to avoid any harm to baby she would prefer me get a c-section, unless I go in labor early and I get to the hospital and I'm dialated 6 cm and it's almost time for baby to start "crowning". I know C-sections are common but at the same time I must admit I'm a little nervous. Both of my girls were delivered vaginally so my thoughts of course is the pain I am looking forward to during the healing process. I'm not complaining because I'm willing to do whats best for my baby, I just cant help but to be a tad nervous  Is there anyone that can give me some feedback or is in a similar situation??
