is it possible to skip the STD blood draw at 35wks?

I've been tested for STDs before, and I'm 100% bet-your-life certain neither my hubby or I have contracted one since last time we were tested..... do I HAVE to do these tests or can I opt out?

Anyone tried? Anyone know? (or am I the only crazy one.... haha!)
