My security system is preparing me for motherhood...

So for the past 2 weeks, my phone lines have been cutting out in the middle of the night and as a result, my entire security system goes off - sirens blaring!!!! I literally jump out of my skin and run to disarm it so it won't wake up neighbors. INSANE. I guess the phone company is testing their lines or something... I've called the phone company and they "resolve my issue" so I set the perimeter alarm again before I go to bed.... AND IT HAPPENS AGAIN!!!!!  I don't want to not set the alarm in case there is a real issue... I mean, I do pay a monthly fee for the system!

Well, I guess this is just how I am preparing for very little sleep and being startled by loud noises in the middle of the night. yay! I think it might be working.  :-)
